Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire Procurement and logistics Operation network, ensuring the products are delivered to customers on time and in perfect condition. You will also be responsible for managing a team of staff and ensuring that all operations are running efficiently and effectively.

Job duties

  • Proactively make recommendations to improve existing processes and make the internal IT service people-centric.
  • Oversee and manage the entire distribution operation, including procurement, inventory management, 3PL partners and Order fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution operations, minimize costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure that all orders are processed and shipped on time and in perfect condition, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including delivery times, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and product, to ensure that all operations are aligned and optimized.

Skills needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Operations management, with a track record of success in optimizing operations and delivering results.
  • Background with ERP and preferably implementations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.
  • Experience in IT equipment or consumer electronics is a Plus.
