Job duties
- Proactively make recommendations to improve existing processes and make the internal IT service people-centric.
- Oversee and manage the entire distribution operation, including procurement, inventory management, 3PL partners and Order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution operations, minimize costs, and improve efficiency.
- Ensure that all orders are processed and shipped on time and in perfect condition, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including delivery times, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and product, to ensure that all operations are aligned and optimized.
Skills needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Operations management, with a track record of success in optimizing operations and delivering results.
- Background with ERP and preferably implementations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.
- Experience in IT equipment or consumer electronics is a Plus.
